Case Overview Index |
The mystery revolving around The Weeping Maria's Face in the Sky is the thirteenth case featured in Gosick.
In the middle of the First World War, there have been sightings of a gigantic image of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the sky near a convent located in the country of Lithuania. According to eyewitness accounts, the image, later called as "The Felling Maria" caused an entire squadron of German bombers to be disoriented into crashing into one another or on nearby structures.
The mysterious phenomena becomes one of the biggest myths revolving around the First World War and the Beelzebub's Skull, where the event happened, and it turns out that the myth is, ironically, fueled by scientific advances.
