Gosick is the first volume of the light novel series of the same name. It was first published in light novel form on December 15, 2003, and was released by Kadokawa Bunko in novel format on September 25, 2009. The volume in its original light novel format was later re-released under the Kadokawa Beans Bunko imprint on April 1, 2011.
